Milton Unveils Conceptual Strategic Plan

Click here to view the Organizational Strategic Plan of 2013.

At the Town of Milton Organizational/Agenda Meeting held on Wednesday January 2, 2013, the Town Council and M.J. Engineering and Land Surveying unveiled a two year ‘Conceptual Strategic Plan’.  There are two phases that have various aspects to them.  Please remember that this plan is still conceptual and the Town Council will be seeking community input for how the Town of Milton develops.

The Town will be moving forward with the Geyser Road Sidewalk and Curbing Project after receiving confirmation from NYS Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Association, and Capital District Transportation Commission that the funding originally awarded in 2006 was secured.

Milton Parks and Recreation will be extremely active during this plan.  There will be enhancement projects being conducted at Burgess-Kimball Memorial Park, a new town recreation park being developed on the northern side of Rowland Street that the town currently owns, as well as more pedestrian access throughout Town Center.

Community and Resident Information sessions will be held beginning the end of January 2013.  These dates will be published on the website, the Town of Milton Facebook page, as well as local newspapers.
